Your Time

When your time came near,
to leave this place.
You started acting weird,
like somebody out of space.
You said things which
would make us mad.
You started doing things for yourself,
that would make you glad.
I realised that it was somebody else,
walking in your shoes,
and not you dad.
Like the one who came from heaven onto earth,
like the angel of death,
to take away our father,
a husband, a son and beloved brother.
By the time when I came to apologise,
it was too late to say anything.
Because by that time,
you were already dead.
Our happiness was taken away,
only left with darkness and pains.
We were so shocked and word less,
with nothing much to say.
Still thinking of a day,
when you’ll come back to us again.
Dad you were one of a kind,
so unique and rare to find.
Nobody in this world,
could ever take your place.
Our love for you dad,
will always grow in this empty space.
